Michael Tortora is a Managing Director and Private Client Advisor at Bank of America Private Bank. Based in Paramus, New Jersey, he leads a team of advisors in Northern New Jersey supporting the needs of high-net worth and ultra-high-net worth individuals and families. Before joining Bank of America in 2004, he served at Fleet Bank for two years and before that as a Senior Vice President and Financial Representative for Fidelity Investments for seven years. He received his bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University.
Michael has more than two decades of experience counseling clients. He understands that they are unique and he develops a tailored wealth management plan to help them meet their needs and objectives. Michael’s outlook is to proactively listen to clients and access the extensive resources of the Private Bank platform in order to provide comprehensive guidance as well as day-to-day banking, trust, estate and philanthropic services. He believes that building strong relationships is the foundation of what he does and he concentrates on matching client’s vision with their circumstances, particularly around asset preservation strategies.
Michael is an actively involved member of his community, He serves on the Honorary Board of Eva’s Village, a non-profit in Paterson, New Jersey that helps provide food, medical care and shelter for people without permanent homes.
