Michael Savage is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank in Washington, D.C.  He works with a select group of high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs and corporate executives, with a primary focus on wealth management strategies and estate planning services.  Michael is a frequent speaker on wealth management topics.  He has extensive experience developing strategies for investment management, education planning, equity compensation and charitable giving.

Before he joined the Bank of America Private Bank (formerly U.S. Trust) in 2008, Michael was a senior manager at Ernst & Young, LLP.  Prior to joining Ernst & Young, he was an attorney at a regional law firm in Denver, Colorado.  He is a member of the District of Columbia Bar and the Colorado Bar, although he does not provide legal or tax advice in his role at the Private Bank.

Michael graduated magna cum laude from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a B.A. degree and earned his J.D. degree at the University of Colorado School of Law, where he also received a tax certificate.  He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.

In the community, Michael is a member of the Board of the Georgetown Business Improvement District, the Washington, DC Estate Planning Council, and a Trustee of the University of Colorado Foundation.
