Michelle B. Fries is a Senior Vice President, Private Client Manager of Bank of America Private Bank.  She works closely with high net worth clients to help develop tailored wealth management strategies that seek to reflect each clients' personal priorities. Michelle is skilled in helping business owners, corporate executives and families resolve the financial complexity that can accompany a significant estate. Working in concert with her Private Bank team, she strives to address a range of needs: investment management, trust and estate planning services, business succession planning, customized credit and lending, and philanthropy.

Michelle will celebrate her 20th year anniversary with Private Bank and has over 22 years of banking industry experience. Although her primary focus is wealth management, she has held roles in client management within several lines of business including Public Sector Banking, Homebuilder, Commercial Real Estate and Consumer Banking. 

Michelle was nominated by Private Bank leadership to serve as a Fellow in the World Business Chicago (WBC) Fellowship program. WBC is a nonprofit chaired by the Mayor of Chicago.  WBC is a unique public-private partnership which engages business and community leaders to advance Chicago’s Plan for Economic Growth and Jobs.  She served as a Fellow in the summer of 2015.

Michelle earned her B.S. in Finance from Benedictine University and completed the Accelerating Growth Program at the Wharton School of University of Pennsylvania.  She serves as an advisor to Bank of America’s Hispanic Latino Executive Council.  She volunteers with Special Olympics and provides financial education to young student leaders.  She enjoys traveling, cycling and the arts.
