Senior Vice President, Private Client Advisor
Michelle Kir is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank in the San Francisco Bay Area. As a Private Client Advisor, Michelle leads a team of specialists to design and implement customized and coordinated wealth management strategies for clients, including investment management, lending, banking, and trust and estate planning services. Her clients include senior executives, real estate investors, business owners, entrepreneurs and other professionals. Michelle and her team provide guidance after a deep review of each client’s complete financial picture; helping them uncover and prioritize immediate, mid-term and long-range goals.
Michelle is consultative in her approach; she understands the value of listening, and engaging in ongoing dialogues to help capture the changing priorities of the clients she serves. She is thoughtful and deliberate in advising clients, taking the time to understand her clients’ needs so that she can devise a plan to help clients streamline their financial lives. She does this while helping to manage, preserve and ultimately transfer their wealth in a manner that accomplishes their goals and allows them to focus on the personal or professional pursuits that matter most to them.
Prior to joining Bank of America Private Bank in 2018, Michelle worked at Wells Fargo Private Bank, for over 20 years, where she was a Senior Vice President and Senior Private Banker.
Michelle earned her Bachelors of Science degree in finance from Santa Clara University and remains involved with her alma mater as a member of the University’s Planned Giving Advisory Council.
