Orley J. Pacheco is a Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank in Brooklyn and Queens, New York. Orley works closely with ultra-high-net-worth individuals and their families, helping them grow, preserve, and steward their wealth more effectively. He has particular depth addressing the needs of accomplished board executives, business owners, and family offices, with a focus on private equity and venture capital principals, who value his ethos of honor, courage, and commitment.
Deeply committed to the clientele he advises, Orley develops enduring relationships with multiple generations of client families, supporting them in addressing the opportunities—and challenges—that substantial wealth can pose. Working in concert with Bank of America’s enterprise-wide specialists and a client’s tax and legal intermediaries, he helps to unify diverse facets of client wealth, helping to smooth the path to client priorities. Orley oversees an integrated suite of capabilities designed to make clients’ financial lives easier and less burdensome: investment management, trust and estate planning services, wealth structuring, investment banking, lending, and philanthropy.
Prior to joining Bank of America Private Bank, Orley spent six years with ARS Capital Advisors, where he was a Financial Planner in a fiduciary capacity. Earlier in his career, he was with BNY Mellon, where he was a member of the firm’s Relationship Executive Team. He has worked in wealth management since 2007. A veteran of the U.S. Marines, Orley enlisted after witnessing the 9/11 attacks as an intern with Goldman Sachs. He ultimately dedicated more than eight years of service and participated in Operation Iraqi Freedom. He earned his MBA from Cornell University, his MBA from Queens University in Canada, and his BA from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Philanthropically committed, Orley has been very active with the United States Marine Corps Toys for Tots Campaign. He also volunteers regularly with Global Strays, an animal-welfare organization. Orley can be found traveling between Southampton, New York, and Palm Beach, Florida, where he is deeply involved in the arts, car hobbies, and giving back to communities that he works and lives in.
