Patricia Besser is a Managing Director and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank in Chicago. Pat is responsible for leading multi-disciplined teams that serve the distinctive and sophisticated needs of ultra-high-net-worth families. She is responsible for some of the Private Bank's most significant relationships in the firm, offering a level of customization, diligence and care that differentiate her approach.

Pat leads teams of specialists who work in concert to address multiple facets of clients’ financial lives. Consistent and methodical in approach, they recognize the singularity of each client’s priorities and needs, supporting those objectives with unflagging resolve. A veteran team leader, Pat is adept in unwinding complex issues and tackling large-scale transactions, grounding her work in integrity and precision.

Pat joined Banc of America Investment Services, Inc. in 2001 following more than 20 years in corporate finance and investment banking with several U.S. and international financial firms, prior to joining Bank of America Private Bank (formerly U.S. Trust) in 2003. She has lived and worked in Europe, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore and South Africa. She earned her undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Notre Dame, as well as her M.B.A. from the University of Minnesota.

Pat is very active in nonprofit leadership. Her board involvements include the Big Shoulders Fund (Patrons Committee), The Economic Club of Chicago where she chaired membership and has served on the board for seven years, The Chicago Club, where she formerly chaired the membership commission, The Commercial Club of Chicago and the Chicago Network. Pat also previously served as the Chairman of the German American Chamber of Commerce of the Midwest.
