As Market President, Patrick O’Neil is Bank of America’s leader in the Savannah and Coastal Georgia Market. He connects businesses, families and individuals to the banking and investment teams that can deliver the global financial resources and expertise of Bank of America. He also leads the work to deploy Bank of America’s resources across the market and the region to address social and economic concerns and build strong communities.

In addition to being Market President, Patrick is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Advisor with the Bank of America Private Bank in Coastal Georgia.  Patrick works closely with high-net-worth individuals and families helping them to thoughtfully and strategically manage their wealth.  Patrick leads a team of specialists to provide guidance and expertise in the areas of wealth and estate planning, investments, family office solutions, credit, and banking.  Patrick and his team offer a boutique approach in creating customized and tailored plans designed to meet the unique needs of each situation. 

Patrick also works closely with institutional clients leading a team of institutional specialists to provide comprehensive investment management, investment policy, and philanthropic services.  Clients include healthcare systems, not-for-profits, philanthropic foundations, and corporate entities.  Drawing on his prior experience as a commercial banker, Patrick has deep experience advising institutional clients and delivering solutions to help them advance their missions and achieve their goals.  

Prior to joining the Private Bank, Patrick was with the Bank of America Global Commercial Bank for 15 years. Patrick joined Bank of America in 2003, beginning his banking career as a personal banker in Consumer Banking.  Within the bank, Patrick has served in numerous lines of business leadership positions, including being a member of the Southeast Executive Council, serving on the Southeast Voice of the Client Committee, and actively participating as a member of the Savannah Leadership Team.

Patrick is also very active in the local community and has held significant leadership positions in the market. He served four years on the Savannah Junior Achievement board and just completed a term as chair of the group’s Finance Committee. He was recognized by the Savannah Chamber of Commerce for his fundraising leadership and served as chair of the Savannah Small Business Association.

 

Patrick holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Armstrong Atlantic State University. He is married to Kindall O’Neil. Kindall and Patrick have two children, Mason Anthony and Callan Christopher and are members of St. James Catholic Church.
