Penelope Blair is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Manager with Bank of America Private Bank in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She works closely with a broad spectrum of ultra-high-net-worth clients, including multigenerational families, business owners and executives, and not-for-profit organizations. Penelope applies her extensive knowledge of Bank of America to help clients access specialized credit and lending solutions as well as day-to-day liquidity management services. She and her team can also connect clients with the resources to address specific wealth management goals, ranging from wealth transfer planning discussions to strategies for investment management, business succession and philanthropy.
Penelope joined Bank of America in 1992 and transitioned to Bank of America Private Bank (formerly U.S. Trust) in 1994. She began her career as a lending specialist and then became a trust officer, focusing on trust administration and estate planning services. Penelope graduated cum laude from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in business management and international business. An honors graduate of the ABA (American Bankers Association) National Graduate Trust School, she also holds the Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) designation sponsored by the ABA Institute of Certified Bankers.
Deeply involved in the South Florida community, Penelope serves on the board of PACE Center for Girls Broward, which honored her at its 2019 “A Taste of Italy” event. She was a member of Leadership Broward Class XXIX, Class XXXII chair, and a 2014 Fun Lunch honoree. Penelope is also a past co-chair of the Joint Tax and Estate Planning Seminar sponsored by the United Way, Community Foundation and Jewish Federation of Broward, representing United Way of Broward. She is active with First United Methodist Church in Fort Lauderdale. At Bank of America, she supports the Black Professional Group as the South Florida Community Engagement – Broward leader.
