Peter Miniati, CFP® is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Advisor and Institutional Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank in Providence, RI. Peter connects high-net-worth individuals and institutions to solutions that can help reach their financial goals. His approach combines the client experience of a boutique-like private bank with access to extensive resources, including traditional, specialty asset, alternative, and capital market investment solutions as well as customized credit and banking offerings.
Peter has worked in the financial services industry for over twenty-five years. Prior to joining Bank of America Private Bank in 2022, he served as a Principal at FL Putnam Investment Management Company, helping give him experience and insight into the wealth management needs of high-net-worth individuals and families. Previously, he was an Advisor with the Washington Trust Company and a corporate lawyer in a Providence firm.
Peter obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Rhode Island, where he served as Student Senate Vice President. He graduated cum laude from Suffolk University Law School and was inducted into the St. Raphael Academy Hall of Fame in 2024.
Peter is a member of the boards of directors of the Rhode Island Historical Society, Hattie Ide Chaffee Nursing Home and St. Raphael Academy and the Partnership for Philanthropic Planning - RI. He chairs the Professional Advisors Council for the Rhode Island Foundation. He is on the University of Rhode Island College of Business Advisory Board and is past President of the URI Alumni Association. Peter is a PAM (non-CPA) member of the Rhode Island CPA Society, and holds membership in the Rhode Island Estate Planning Council, the Rhode Island Bar Association and its Probate and Trust Committee, and he is a Fellow of the Rhode Island Bar Foundation.
