Phil Farish is a Senior Vice President and Senior Trust Officer at Bank of America, Private Bank. As a Senior Trust Officer in the Dallas office, Phil works with affluent families in matters involving estate planning, wealth transfer and income tax planning areas. While delivering the wealth management services that Bank of America offers to assist clients in reaching their goals, he oversees a variety of trust and investment accounts.

Phil joined the Private Bank (formerly U.S. Trust) in November 2004, later joining Bank of America in 2007 as a result of an acquisition. He was promoted to Senior Trust Officer in 2009 and to Senior Vice President in August 2012. Prior to joining the Private Bank, he spent over 20 years with national public accounting firms including PwC and RSM. Phil’s accounting practice focused primarily on income taxation and estate tax planning for affluent individuals and their family investment entities and trusts.

Phil was born and raised in the Dallas area. He earned his B.B.A. in Accounting at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. In addition to his Certified Public Accounting certification, he also holds the Accredited Estate Planner designation.  Resides in Richardson, Texas, he is an active member and past board member of both the Dallas Estate Planning Council and the Estate Planning Council of North Texas. He is also active in the Texas Society of CPA’s.
