Robert (Bob) Connolly is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Manager at Bank of America Private Bank in Boston, Massachusetts. Applying more than 30 years of financial experience and the firm’s global resources, he leads a team of specialists in delivering investment management, fiduciary trust administration, wealth transfer strategies, credit and liquidity solutions, exit planning strategies and philanthropic solutions.

Bob’s primary objective is to simplify and streamline the financial lives of clients – many he’s known for decades -- and helps them achieve their financial goals.  They include active and retired business owners and entrepreneurs, senior-level corporate executives, and generations of wealthy families. A determined problem-solver, Bob relishes the chance to tackle complex challenges for clients, as well as introduce new solutions.  In addition to orchestrating his team’s efforts, he spearheads clear communication with clients’ tax and legal advisors as needed, to facilitate a synergy of effort that can help optimize results.

Determined to meet and surpass each client’s expectations, Bob prides himself on being responsible and responsive to clients and his team of specialists. He feels a genuine sense of fulfillment providing the knowledge and know-how to help clients to reach their goals – financially and personally.

After graduating law school, Bob joined Bank of New England which became part of Bank of America Private Bank (formerly U.S. Trust). Prior to that, he worked as an analyst with a Wellesley-based financial planning firm. Bob holds a bachelor’s degree from Tufts University and a J.D. from Suffolk Law School.

He and his family reside in Braintree, Massachusetts, where he enjoys spending time with his children and grandchildren, and a good game of golf. Bob has served as a Trust fund commissioner for the Town of Braintree and currently serves on its Board of Assessors. He also participates in local fundraising drives.
