Robert Drouin is a Managing Director and Wealth Strategies Advisor at Bank of America Private Bank in Boston, Massachusetts. He welcomes the opportunity to help clients and their families seek ways to grow, preserve and transfer their wealth most effectively. Robert serves in an advisory role to help analyze clients’ current tax situations, estate, gifting and charitable plans, investment portfolios, retirement plans and executive compensation arrangements. Drawing on his years of experience as a Certified Public Accountant, Robert has developed a thoughtful understanding of the issues that can impact the financial lives of private business owners, private equity principals and public company executives. He utilizes his unique perspective and collaborates with clients’ advisors on tax minimization strategies, business exit planning, executive compensation and wealth transfer strategies.

Prior to joining Bank of America Private Bank (formerly U.S. Trust) in 2005, Robert worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers in its personal financial services group where he supported the tax planning, trust, and estate planning needs of individual clients and their families.

Robert earned his bachelor’s degree in mathematics, his master’s degree in professional accountancy and his master’s degree in taxation from Georgia State University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ Personal Financial Planning Division, the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants, and Boston Estate Planning Council. 

Robert and his wife, Tracy, live with their three children in North Andover, Massachusetts. In his spare time, he enjoys coaching youth hockey and lacrosse.
