Robert Haskins is a Managing Director and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank in Westport, Connecticut. Bob provides in-depth advice and guidance to ultra-high-net-worth individuals, couples, and families, helping them advance their priorities, capitalize on possible efficiencies, and pursue the financial life they envision. He has significant experience catering to the distinctive needs of real estate developers, private equity principals, auto dealers, senior executives, and private-company business owners. Empathetic and discreet, he grounds his approach in care and diligence that testify to his commitment to each client’s long-term well-being.
Bob leads a closely-knit team of private banking specialists who work in concert to develop tailored initiatives in investment management, trust and estate planning services, wealth strategy, banking, and philanthropy. Together, they look to uncover opportunities on both sides of the balance sheet to grow, preserve, and transfer wealth more effectively. Bob has particular depth facilitating structured lending for marquis real estate acquisitions through Bank of America. He is also adept in supporting constructive dynamics across multiple generations of client families, cultivating open communication and sound stewardship.
Bob has worked at Bank of America Private Bank (formerly U.S. Trust) since 2007. Previously, he spent 18 years as a corporate executive with Mueller Industries. He earned his B.A. from Columbia University and his M.B.A. from the University of North Carolina – Greensboro.
Bob is a former trustee of Xavier High School in New York City, his alma mater. He served for many years as a board member of the White Plains Performing Arts Center and the Mercy Learning Center in Bridgeport, Connecticut. He continues to support a number of philanthropic organizations in his community.
Bob and his family reside in Fairfield, Connecticut.
