Robert Holman is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank in Paramus, New Jersey. Rob works closely with an accomplished clientele residing on both coasts – successful entrepreneurs and business owners, senior executives at technology, venture capital and private equity companies, as well as generations of their families.

Informed by his long career in commercial and private banking, Rob is further supported by an experienced team of specialists. Together, they are committed to optimizing the experience of clients – helping them grow, preserve and effectively transfer their wealth.

In addition to retirement and legacy planning, investment and asset preservation strategies, wealth structuring and tax minimization strategies, the team spends significant time helping to design liquidity strategies for clients – especially when wealth is tied closely to a venture at the time of an acquisition or exit. The team also offers clients tailored cash management, deposit, and customized credit solutions for residential and commercial real estate, aircraft and art lending.

Rob began his banking career in 1998 with a predecessor of Bank of America, where he held several senior private bank positions. In 2006, he moved to Wachovia Bank, where he acquired and managed loan, deposit and investment portfolios for commercial and high-net-worth clients of its private bank. Two years later, Rob joined PNC Bank and focused on middle-market lending. In 2010, he moved to Morgan Stanley Private Bank and focused on ultra-high-net-worth clients. Most recently, he was managing director, private bank for Silicon Valley Bank, for which he was the New York market relationship manager.

Rob holds a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Rutgers University. He and his wife live in Glen Rock, New Jersey with their three daughters. Rob enjoys playing golf, fishing and coaching his daughters’ teams.
