Ryan Olson is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America’s Private Bank in San Francisco, California. In his role, he leads a team of specialists to help clients design and implement customized and coordinated wealth management strategies, including investment management, lending, banking, and trust and estate planning services. His clients can include C-level and senior executives, real estate investors, business owners, multi-generational families, entrepreneurs and other professionals.

Ryan and his team provide guidance after a deep review of each client’s complete financial situation, helping them uncover and prioritize immediate, mid-term and long-range goals. He is consultative in his approach and he understands the value of listening, and engaging in ongoing dialogues to help capture the changing priorities of the clients he serves. He is thoughtful and deliberate in advising clients, taking the time to understand his clients’ needs so that he can devise a plan to help them streamline their financial lives. He does this while helping his clients manage, protect, preserve and ultimately transfer their wealth, in a manner that accomplishes their goals and allows them to focus on the personal or professional pursuits that matter most to them.

Prior to joining Bank of America Private Bank, Ryan worked as a Vice President, Private Banker at City National Bank (an RBC Company) as well as Wells Fargo Private Bank where he was a Vice President and Senior Private Banker. He has more than 17 years of experience in the industry.

Ryan earned a B.A. from Doane University in Nebraska and an M.B.A. (with Honors) from Saint Mary’s College of California. 

Ryan and his wife live in Moraga with their son, Grayson, and daughter, Sabrina.  In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, wine country, golf, and reading.
