Samantha Kennedy is a Managing Director, Private Client and Institutional Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank in Houston. Samantha provides customized advice and guidance to ultra-high-net-worth families and nonprofit institutions, supporting them in growing and stewarding their wealth more effectively. She leads a team of Private Bank specialists who work in concert to uncover possible efficiencies in multiple disciplines, including wealth structuring, investment management, asset financing, banking, philanthropy, and nonprofit advisory services. Client focused, Samantha is resolute in pursuing the long-term well-being of the families and institutions she serves. She offers the knowledge and insight of a seasoned team leader, directing the interplay of strategies and tactics designed to advance steady progress toward client objectives.
Samantha has worked at Bank of America since 2001. She began her tenure with the firm as a commercial lender before transitioning to her current roles in the Private Bank. Previously, she served as a lender and credit analyst with the commercial lending group at First Interstate Bank. She earned her M.B.A. and her undergraduate degree in Finance from Texas Tech University and holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) designation. Committed to ongoing professional development, she is a member of the Investments & Wealth Institute™.
Samantha serves on the board and executive committee of the Mission of Yahweh, a shelter for women and children based in Houston, as well as the board of March of Dimes. She is also active with a number of area nonprofits, including Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council and Horn Elementary PTO.
