Sanyu Banks is a Vice President, Private Client Associate at Bank of America Private Bank.

Sanyu joined the firm in January of 2018, and has over 20 years of credit and banking experience supporting the needs of high net-worth individuals and their families. She is able to provide an enhanced more personalized level of service with comprehensive advice. She delivers wealth management services to help clients navigate the complexities of investment management, estate planning, asset preservation, and wealth transfer strategies. Her approach combines the client experience of a boutique-like private bank with access to extensive resources, including traditional, specialty asset, alternative, and capital market investment strategies as well as customized credit and banking offerings.

Sanyu initially began her finance career in 1996 with Bank of America, where she worked as a Mortgage Lending Banker. Then from 2006 to 2010, she served as a Premier Banker with Wells Fargo. Also from 2010 to 2018, she served as a VP Private Banker with US Bank. Prior to joining Bank of America Private Bank, she served as a Senior Lending Officer with Bank of America

Sanyu Banks received an MBA in Financial Planning from Cal Lutheran University. She received her BS in finance from Cal Poly

She is an avid supporter of her community and is engaged with local volunteering and outreach efforts.
