Sarah Giles is a Senior Vice President and Senior Trust Officer in the Phoenix and Tucson (Arizona) offices of Bank of America Private Bank. As a local resource with deep knowledge of trust design and administration, Sarah works closely with clients to help preserve and transfer wealth effectively. She develops long-term relationships with clients, providing them with the knowledge they need to enact and revise their estate plans in light of changing priorities and objectives. Sarah works in concert with a team of Private Bank specialists, aligning her efforts with client initiatives in investment management, wealth strategy, and philanthropy. Moreover, she is skilled in spearheading coordinated action with a client’s external professional advisors, advancing sound communication and careful deliberation across multiple disciplines.

Sarah works with clients at varied stages of their personal and professional lives. She believes that sound estate planning can benefit a wide range of clients, from matriarchs and patriarchs of multi-generational families to young professionals.  Throughout her engagements, she brings a responsiveness and sensitivity that underscore her deep-seated interest in client well-being.

Prior to joining Bank of America Private Bank, Sarah was an attorney in a boutique law practice in Phoenix, where she worked on the design, implementation, and administration of client estate plans. In this role, she collaborated with financial advisors, accountants, and other attorneys to advance a client’s long-term wealth transfer objectives.

Sarah earned a B.S. in justice studies, summa cum laude, and a B.A. in sociology, also summa cum laude, from Arizona State University, where she was a President’s Scholar. She also holds a J.D. from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University.

Sarah is a member of the State Bar of Arizona and serves on the Board of Directors for the Central Arizona Estate Planning Council.
