Scott Burns is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank in New York, New York. Scott works closely with high-net-worth individuals and Families to help optimize and manage their wealth. Scott joined the Private Bank (formerly U.S. Trust) in 2003. Prior to his current role; Scott was co-head of a portfolio construction initiative where he was responsible for the management and oversight of a suite of model portfolios.  With over 15 years of experience in finance, Scott has held various positions within Bank of America Private Bank and the greater Bank of America organization, which have included investment consultant, portfolio manager and an investment product specialist. In these roles, he specialized in providing high-net-worth clients with complex and customized investment strategy, asset allocation and portfolio construction.

Scott holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from The College of William and Mary. He is a member of the Investments & Wealth Institute™ and he is a CIMA® professional focusing on investment management consulting.
