Scott A. Wagoner is a Managing Director and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank in Dallas, Texas. He brings more than 28 years of extensive financial experience to active and retired clients distinguished for their accomplishments and the complexities of their wealth. Scott works primarily with ultra-high-net-worth owners of manufacturing, technology, and energy companies – many who have sold their enterprises – as well as three and four generations of their families. He also offers thoughtful support and guidance to widowed clients he has known for decades. To address the sophisticated and often urgent needs of clients, Scott and his team of selected specialists formulate and implement a wide range of coordinated wealth management services – including investment management and estate planning services, and customized business investment, residential and art lending.
Scott began his career with Texas National Bank in Waco as a trust officer. Subsequently, he joined NationsBank Trust Department (later U.S. Trust, now Bank of America Private Bank) as a trust specialist. During his long tenure with Bank of America, he has held positions in banking, trust administration, and portfolio management.
Scott graduated from Rice University with a bachelor’s degree in managerial studies. He was a four-year letterman and athletic scholarship recipient on the Rice golf team and was voted captain by his teammates his senior year. Scott’s graduate studies were completed at the University of Texas, where he earned an M.B.A.
Originally from East Texas, Scott now resides in University Park with his wife, Alexis, and their family. In addition to raising three sons and three foster daughters, Scott coaches his children in several sports, participates in church activities, and enjoys golf, hunting and fishing. He also volunteers with Junior Achievement, teaching at schools in Dallas.
