Simmi Prasad is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank in Raleigh, North Carolina. With more than 18 years of experience managing complex and strategic relationships, she is dedicated to understanding and catering to the multifaceted wealth management needs of high- and ultra-high-net-worth families, business owners, and non-profit institutions.

To aid her in addressing her clients’ unique financial priorities, she is backed by a dedicated team of specialists and the extensive resources at Bank of America. Together, they help provide strategic guidance to clients with respect to investment management strategies, credit and lending solutions, tax minimization strategies, and other trust and estate planning services to help clients grow and preserve their wealth and leave a lasting legacy.

Simmi joined Bank of America Private Bank (formerly U.S. Trust) in 2017 with 15 years of banking, credit and lending, and wealth management experience. Previously, she was a vice president and investment strategist with Wells Fargo Private Bank, providing clients with a tailored wealth management approach focusing on both sides of their balance sheets. In 2004,  She joined Wells Fargo Advisors, where she helped affluent families design and implement tailored portfolio and investment management strategies. Her career began in retail banking at Wachovia in 2002. Simmi earned her M.B.A. with a focus in finance from Campbell University. She holds the Certified Trust Fiduciary Advisor designation sponsored by the ABA Institute of Certified Bankers and is a member of the Institute of Certified Bankers. Simmi is a graduate of Yale School of Management Executive Education Women’s Leadership Program.

Passionate about helping women and youth entrepreneurs, Simmi is president of the Carolinas chapter for The International Entrepreneurs—a global organization; a board member for Cary Community Foundation; and an advisory board member for NCIAP People’s Medical Care. She also serves as an advisor to the North West Cary YMCA board, and the WakeEd Partnership Board. Simmi and her husband live in Cary with their three daughters.
