Alex is a Managing Director and Market Executive with Bank of America Private Bank for Greater Los Angeles market. In this capacity, his responsibilities include managing and leading a team of private client managers and private client advisors focused on delivering strategic financial guidance and solutions throughout the Greater Los Angeles marketplace. The team’s mission is to help individuals and their families protect and execute their goals and family plans.
Alex joined Bank of America in 2005, where he has held a variety of positions. His prior roles have included Business Development Officer, Client Development Manager, Senior Relationship Manager, and most recently, Commercial Banking Market Executive. In addition, Alex serves on the Bank’s Los Angeles Market President Council and Co-Chairs the West Los Angeles Regional Leadership Council. In this capacity, Alex assists with supporting the marketing and community development activities for Bank of America’s various lines of businesses within the local market. He is an active member of the Asian Leadership Network and Asian Business Council within Bank of America, and serves as a Co-Executive Sponsor of the Southern California chapter. As a member of the Bank’s Diversity and Inclusion Private Bank Council, Alex leads the Bank of America Asian Executive Leadership Council, which develops and executes strategic partnerships within the Asian community and the broader Diversity and Inclusion ecosystem.
Active in the community, Alex has supported multiple not‐for‐profit organizations in the Greater Los Angeles area. He currently supports the RYLA Rotary Youth Leadership Program, Union Station of Pasadena, Ronald McDonald Charities, University of Southern California Asian Pacific Alumni Association, and Neighborhood Academic Initiative with University of Southern California. He currently is the board appointed Chair for the San Gabriel Valley Economic Partnership, sits on the Board of Directors for the USC APAA and is on the Board of Governors for The Huntington Library and Botanical Gardens.
Alex attended the University of Southern California, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a dual emphasis in Global Management and Marketing, and a minor in International Relations. In addition, Alex graduated in 2013 from The Pacific Coast Banking School at The University of Washington, a 3 year commercial banking graduate program. He was invited back the following two years to serve on the faculty as an Executive Student Advisor. Alex currently resides in Arcadia with his wife and three sons.
