Dan Palmer is a Managing Director and Market Executive with Bank of America Private Bank. Dan’s role is to work directly with the Greater Los Angeles teams to assist on how to best serve their clients’ needs. Dan is also currently serving as the Greater Los Angeles Market Integration Executive, responsible for developing and executing the business development strategy of all lines of business in Los Angeles.

While earning his bachelor’s degree in business administration at the University of Florida, Dan began his career in financial services in 1992 with Merrill. Dan relocated to Southern California in 1994, after which he continued to develop and assist clients with their wealth accumulation, preservation and transfer goals. In 2000, Dan became a producing manager with Comerica Securities and provided strategies for clients in the areas of corporate cash, business succession, defined benefit and defined contribution plans and continued to work with business owners on their personal wealth strategies. Dan joined LaSalle Bank in 2003 which was acquired by Bank of America in 2007, when Dan became a Private Client Advisor at Bank of America Private Bank. As a Private Client Advisor, Dan worked with a team of professionals including Wealth Strategists, Portfolio Managers, Trust Officers and Administrative Personnel to identify, design and implement family wealth strategies. Since 2015, Dan has been coaching teams as a Private Bank Market Leader in Los Angeles.

Dan holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^™ certification. He has served as the Board Chair of three nonprofit agencies benefiting children and families, including the Exchange Club of Newport Harbor, the Orange County Children’s Center and the Kids’ Turn San Diego. Dan also served as a Finance and Investment Committee Member of the Children’s Center of Wayne County, a past board member of The Center Theatre Group (CTG) in Los Angeles and is a current board member of The Los Angeles Metropolitan YMCA.
