Jeffrey M. Spear is a Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Bank of America Private Bank in Orange County, California. Jeffrey has more than 28 years of investment management industry experience with 17 years working as a Portfolio Manager. In this role, he is responsible for creating and overseeing clients’ personalized investment portfolios while utilizing a broad range of wealth planning management and strategies. His main focus is helping clients establish their personal investment goals and objectives while identifying and managing risk within this complicated market environment. In depth conversation with clients, creates the foundation for implementing a customized investment portfolio which will be actively reviewed and shared to ensure progress toward future goals.
Prior to joining Bank of America Private Bank, Jeffrey served as a Senior Associate at PIMCO, offering experience and insight into actively-managed, fixed-income funds and portfolios. Previously, he was an Assistant Vice President and ETF Portfolio Management with Claymore Securities in Naperville, Illinois, as well as an Officer and Portfolio Manager with Bank of America Private Bank (formerly U.S. Trust) in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Jeffrey earned a Bachelor of Arts in business economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
