Elizabeth Cahill is a Managing Director and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank in Greenwich, Connecticut. Liz advises individuals, families, CEOs, and private business owners with a focus on ultra-high-net-worth families. She also consults to institutional foundations and endowments, offering customized advice and guidance to help simplify the complexities that significant wealth can entail. A veteran advisor, Liz works in concert with a team of specialists to leverage the extensive resources of the Private Bank, including investment management, customized credit, and estate planning, serving clients throughout the country.
Liz has more than 30 years of experience in corporate banking and wealth management. Her background includes both large corporate and middle market banking. Prior to joining the Private Bank (formerly U.S. Trust), she was a banker with Bank of Boston from 1985 until 2001. She is a graduate of Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts.
Liz is a member of the Association of Corporate Growth (ACG) of Connecticut, a network of private equity providers and financial advisors. She is also a member of the Exit Planning Exchange (XPX), a multi-disciplinary community of professional advisors who work collaboratively to help owners prepare for and execute business transitions.
In her free time, Liz volunteers with many nonprofit organizations across Fairfield County. She serves on the board of the New Canaan Community Foundation and is past president of the Estate Planning Council of Lower Fairfield County. She was previously on the board of Stepping Stones Museum for Children in Norwalk and currently co-chairs its Swing Into It Golf Tournament. She is a parishioner and volunteer at St. Aloysius Church in New Canaan where she resides with her two daughters. Liz enjoys travel, golf, and skiing with her family.
