After earning a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and pursuing doctoral studies in Neuroscience at University of Pittsburgh, she decided to pivot and enter the banking industry. She began her banking career 17 years ago at J.P. Morgan Chase and has since spent most of her career in the areas of Commercial Banking and Wealth Management. She spent 10+ years as a Commercial Banker, while focused on consulting with business owners to grow their businesses in various industries.

Alicia lives in Atlanta and has one daughter who attends Spelman College, and two fur babies, Moo and Diamond. She is a culture and language enthusiast who speaks French and Spanish among other languages.
