Bonalynn Wallach is a Senior Vice President and a Portfolio Manager at Bank of America Private Bank. In this role, she is responsible for creating and maintaining personalized investment strategies utilizing a broad range of wealth management services. Bonalynn works with individuals, families and businesses, helping them manage their assets in keeping with their distinctive goals, risk tolerance, and personal circumstances. This includes assisting clients with establishing goals, working towards developing an appropriate overall investment strategy, formulating potential solutions, and conducting periodic reviews to help clients monitor progress toward reaching their objectives.

Bonalynn also prides herself on serving as a proactive resource during periods of market volatility, helping clients avoid emotional decision-making and grounding their approach in a disciplined process and long-term perspective. A skilled communicator, Bonalynn also works to facilitate a client’s investment knowledge and comfort, supporting multiple generations in their evolution as capable and informed stewards. She collaborates closely with other members of a client’s Private Bank team, integrating investing within a cohesive, multi-disciplinary approach.


Prior to joining Bank of America Private Bank, she served as Director, Senior Portfolio Manager at BMO Private Bank helping give her experience and insight into the wealth management needs of high-net-worth individuals, families and businesses. Previously, she managed retirement, and endowment & foundation assets for two very large nonprofit organizations.

Bonalynn Wallach obtained a B.S.B.A. from The Ohio State University. Bonalynn is a member of the Joffrey Women’s Board.
