David S Furlin
David Furlin is a Managing Director and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank in Chicago. He advises individuals, multi-generational families, family offices, foundations, and endowments on sophisticated wealth management strategies designed to preserve, grow, and transfer wealth across generations. David works closely with a team of specialists to deliver comprehensive wealth management strategies, including investment management, wealth planning, trusts and estates, philanthropy, customized credit, and private banking solutions. He also has significant experience structuring specialized lending solutions involving aircraft, yachts, fine art, real estate, and marketable securities.
Since joining Bank of America in 2006, David has helped clients navigate complex financial opportunities and challenges through thoughtful, goals-based advice. Prior to joining Bank of America, he was an Analyst in the Fundamental Credit Division and later a Business Manager in the Global Equities Division at Citadel Investment Group. Earlier in his career, he worked as a Certified Public Accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers in its Assurance and Business Advisory practice.
David graduated magna cum laude from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting and competed on the university's men's basketball team. He earned an M.B.A. in Finance and Economics from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Active in the Chicago community, David serves on the Board of Directors of Chicago Cares and enjoys coaching youth basketball.
