Dyan Goodwin is a Managing Director and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank in Boston, Massachusetts. Dyan and her team provide tailored strategy, advice, and personalized implementation to high-net-worth individuals and their families, addressing their unique needs and supporting their efforts as stewards of their wealth. Dyan and her team also work closely with both single-family and multi-family offices to provide a wide range of services that allow those firms to better support and manage their clients' complex financial needs.
Dyan is responsible for creating and overseeing customized wealth management services including banking, cash management, targeted lending, and trust and estate planning services. She assists clients with establishing goals and objectives, developing an appropriate overall wealth strategy, formulating and implementing potential solutions, and conducting periodic reviews to monitor progress. In addition, Dyan and her team support clients in navigating changing market environments, staying apprised of evolving opportunities and economic themes. She also leads tailored initiatives in portfolio design, strategic wealth transfer, pre- and post-retirement planning, philanthropy, and multigenerational family engagement and education. Customized lending for real estate, aviation, marine, art and cash flow are areas of particular focus for Dyan and her team. Mindful of the unique dynamics and intentions of each relationship, she seeks to optimize the client experience through her leadership, personal oversight and attention to client service.
Dyan joined the firm in 2002 and has over 30 years of experience advising an accomplished clientele. She began her career at MFS Investment Management and went on to roles at Nuveen and Fidelity Investments before joining Bank of America. She earned her bachelor’s degree in English from New England College.
Dyan is a former board member of Horizons for Homeless Children, a nonprofit organization focused on early childhood education. She is currently a member of The Boston Club, Boston Estate Planning Council and Boston Women in Finance.
