Chad Chilcot is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank, bringing more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. He works closely with high-net-worth individuals and families, business owners, executives, and nonprofit organizations to help them navigate complex financial decisions.
Chad leverages the full breadth of the Private Bank’s capabilities to deliver highly customized solutions for clients nationwide. He leads a team of seasoned specialists and, after identifying each client’s unique priorities, brings together the appropriate expertise to develop and implement tailored strategies. For some clients, this involves coordinating and managing their entire financial picture; for others, it means delivering targeted solutions to address specific needs.
His team provides a comprehensive range of services, including investment management; trust and estate planning; philanthropic and nonprofit advisory; and customized credit and banking solutions. These offerings include access to preferred deposit solutions and sophisticated lending strategies, such as securities-based lines of credit, financing for investment real estate, and customized lending for aviation, art, and marine assets. Chad also works closely with business owners at every stage of the business lifecycle, including helping them navigate through complex transactions and transitions, including company sales, liquidity events, and succession planning strategies.
Chad began his career in financial services in 2004 as an equity research analyst at Legg Mason, where he focused on company analysis and investment recommendations. He later joined Stifel, transitioning into equity sales and spending more than a decade building relationships with institutional investors, including pension funds, hedge funds, mutual funds, and insurance companies. During this time, he also worked with public and private company executives on capital markets strategy, contributing to the successful execution of initial public offerings and follow-on offerings.
He earned a Bachelor of Science with honors from the University of Tennessee, where he remains an active alumnus and member of The Shareholders Society, and holds an MBA from the College of William & Mary.
Chad and his wife, Heather, live in Hunt Valley, Maryland, with their two children. He is an avid golfer and an active member of Baltimore Country Club.
