Ed Siaje serves as the President of Bank of America Detroit. In this role, he is responsible for connecting clients, teammates, and communities to the full power of the franchise, driving integration across our eight lines of business. He oversees our efforts to grow market share by fostering local connections and identifying opportunities to grow and deepen our client relationships. He also leads the effort to deploy Bank of America's resources to help advance economic mobility and build strong communities.
In addition to being president of Detroit, Ed serves as a Private Bank Market Executive for Michigan and leads a team of dedicated specialists who provide integrated advice and guidance to high-net-worth clients and institutional nonprofits. Prior to this role, he served as a Consumer area executive where he was responsible for strategy, service, and operations across more than 280 financial centers. With 27 years of experience in financial services, he’s held numerous positions within financial center leadership with regional and national banks throughout the Midwest.
A native of southeast Michigan, Ed is passionate about driving local economic growth and opportunity. He serves on the Board of Directors of United Way of Southeastern Michigan, Business Leaders of Michigan, Detroit Economic Club, Detroit Regional Chamber, and Detroit Institute of Art.
Ed earned his undergraduate degree and his master’s degree in international business and finance from the University of Michigan. He lives in Dearborn with his wife and three children.
