Robert Kruse is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank in Detroit, Michigan. Bob has worked at Bank of America since 2006. Prior to his current role, he spent eight years with the Global Commercial Bank, where he served as a Senior Relationship Manager for the healthcare and nonprofit sectors. He gained extensive international experience and was responsible for enhancing the bank’s strategic relationship with China Construction Bank. Previously, he held positions in the Counterparty Credit Risk and Global Trust Services divisions. He began his financial services career in 2004 as an analyst for a boutique investment bank, Jordan Knauff & Company in Chicago. He earned his B.S. in commerce and economics from DePaul University, where he was a scholarship recipient and captain of the Men’s Soccer Team.
Bob is a board member of the Young Men’s Christian Association of Metropolitan Detroit, where he also serves on the executive and finance committees. He is also a founder of the Dean Anthony Katsaros Foundation and an alumnus of Leadership Detroit Class XXXIX, an executive leadership program sponsored by the Detroit Regional Chamber. Bob also has a passion for youth sports and serves on the board of Eastside FC, a local community soccer club. On many nights and weekends you will find him coaching his sons' soccer teams.
Originally from Chicago, Bob resides in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, with his wife, Maureen, and their two sons.
