Wendy Willett McMillan is a Managing Director and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. Wendy works closely with high-net-worth individuals and families to help optimize and manage their wealth. By identifying a client's primary goals and needs, Wendy and her team coordinate local resources and the national capabilities of Bank of America Enterprise to help clients reach their objectives. She leads a team of specialists who work in concert to design and implement tailored financial strategies in investment management, trust and estate planning services, liquidity event strategies, lending and philanthropy. Wendy works closely with her network of attorneys and CPAs to ensure all areas of focus outside the Private Bank are fully integrated and aligned.
Wendy has worked in the financial services industry for 25 years and has an extensive background in investment management, estate planning, lending, financial planning and equity compensation strategies. She has also participated as a guest speaker at various conferences and seminars on topics pertaining to wealth management and investment strategies.
Prior to joining Bank of America Private Bank in 2022, Wendy worked with top corporate executive clients at Fidelity Investments. Prior to Fidelity, Wendy served as Managing Director at Deutsche Bank Wealth Management, helping give her experience and insight into the wealth management needs of high-net-worth individuals and families. Previously, she was a Managing Director with Wells Fargo Securities LLC and a Principal at Banc of America Securities LLC in San Francisco. She started her career in New York City in the Merchant Banking Group at Chase Manhattan Bank and later joined Bankers Trust in their derivatives group.
Wendy obtained a B.S. in Finance and International Management from Georgetown University and completed an International Finance/Business program at Oxford University. Wendy is originally from Michigan and she and her husband, James, have moved back home after living on the West Coast for many years.
