Maureen Brinker Rathnakumar is a Managing Director and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank in Saint Louis, Missouri. In her role, Maureen works closely with high-net-worth individuals and families to help optimize and manage their wealth. By identifying a client's primary goals and needs, Maureen and her team coordinate local resources and the national capabilities of the entire Bank of America Enterprise to help clients reach their objectives. She leads a team of Bank of America Private Bank specialists who work in concert to design and implement tailored financial strategies in investment management, trust and estate planning services, liquidity-event strategies, lending and philanthropy.
Maureen has worked in the financial services industry for over 20 years. Prior to joining Bank of America Private Bank in 2024, she spent 14 years with J.P. Morgan Asset Management. During her time there, Maureen served as an Executive Director and Banker in the Private Bank, providing comprehensive wealth management strategies to meet the needs of high-net-worth individuals and families. She also worked with J.P. Morgan’s Institutional Advisory Team as a Client Advisor in the Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution retirement services group. Maureen began her career as a Mutual Fund Accountant with State Street, and has also worked in Equity Research for A.G. Edwards and Susquehanna International Group.
Maureen earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Missouri, Columbia.
In her free time, Maureen enjoys staying active with her three children, Velan, Priya and Anika and their family dog, Louie. Together they volunteer at their local church, school and other community events. An avid runner, Maureen also enjoys raising money for various charities while participating in half-marathons and other races in the St. Louis area. She is also a member of the MU Alumni Network, Professional Women’s Alliance and the Washington University Women’s Leadership Society.
