Lauren Vick Burthey is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank in Charlotte, North Carolina. Lauren works closely with high-net-worth individuals and families to help optimize and manage their wealth. By identifying a client’s primary goals and needs, Lauren and her team coordinate local resources and the national capabilities of Bank of America Enterprise to help clients reach their objectives. She leads a team of Bank of America Private Bank specialists who work in concert to design and implement tailored financial strategies in investment management, trust and estate planning services, liquidity-event strategies, lending and philanthropy.

Lauren has worked in the financial services industry for almost a decade. Prior to joining Bank of America Private Bank, Lauren most recently served as a Director in the Family Office Practice of Homrich Berg, an Atlanta-based RIA. Lauren began her financial services career as a banker for J.P. Morgan Private Bank, serving institutional families and philanthropic organizations advising across the entirety of their balance sheets. Having worked with many diverse founders, entrepreneurs and C-suite executives, Lauren played an integral role in the creation and launch of what is now known at J.P. Morgan as Diverse Wealth Initiatives.

Lauren brings a wide array of experiences having spent her early career working in higher education at The Wharton School and in consulting with Towers Watson and McKinsey & Company. Lauren obtained a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania and holds a Master of Business Administration from Duke University Fuqua School of Business, where she served as the co-president of the Association of Women in Business. She is also an active member of The Crescent Society (Alumnae) of The Lawrenceville School.
