Rodney Spencer is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Manager with Bank of America Private Bank in Charlotte, North Carolina. With more than two decades of experience, he takes great satisfaction in helping ultra-high-net-worth clients throughout New York City simplify the complexities of their wealth.

Collaborating with a dedicated team of specialists across the Private Bank, he takes an integrated approach to connect clients with the global resources and capabilities at Bank of America that align with their distinctive credit and banking needs. Rodney welcomes the opportunity to provide sophisticated, customized solutions spanning multiple disciplines, including structured credit, investment management, strategic banking and credit, and trust services.

Rodney began his financial services career in 1989 in auditing for Liberty Mutual and joined Bank of America supporting the Private Bank in 1999. Throughout his career, he has served the needs of private clients in various capacities including Credit Executive where he assisted clients in North Carolina, Tennessee, and Washington D.C. with portfolio management, pricing approvals, and credit solutions. Rodney also served as a Regional Credit Executive responsible for leading a team of underwriters performing custom credit activities throughout New York City and the Midwest.

Rodney earned his Bachelor’s degree in accounting and corporate finance from Ball State University and his M.B.A. with a concentration in international business from Florida Atlantic University. An avid football fan, Rodney also enjoys home remodeling projects in his spare time.
