Will Manning is the Market Executive for the North Carolina Private Bank, responsible for developing and implementing the market strategy to drive responsible growth and financial performance of the market, advisor productivity, client engagement/retention and delivering one company with enterprise partners.
In addition to his current role, Will serves on the Boards of Make-A-Wish, the Columbia SC Urban League and the Finance Committee of the West Point Association of Graduates. He formerly served on a select team of Bank of America employees advising the bank’s executive leadership team on military veteran support, volunteerism and recruiting. He is a recurring speaker & mentor for the Black Professionals Group.
Manning joined Bank of America in 2006 as a Program Manager in Global Wealth & Investment Management. For two years, he served as the Military Segment Sales Executive and served as a Customer Experience Exec in the Community North and Southeast Regions. Until he moved to his current position in May, 2021 he served as a Commercial Banker, Relationship Manager, and South Carolina Market Executive for the Business Bank.
Manning served with distinction as a Combat Engineer officer in the US Army for five years. He served as an Airborne Ranger and Master Parachutist in the Army’s famed 82nd Airborne Division. Before joining the bank, Manning was a Six Sigma Black Belt and Product Marketing Manager at GE Energy in Atlanta, GA for five years.
Born and raised in Gaffney, SC, Manning graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point where he majored in Mathematics and Electrical Engineering. He earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Emory University’s Goizueta School of Business.
