John is a Managing Director and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank and has over 30 years of experience serving the financial needs of high net worth individuals, families, not-for profit institutions and businesses. He is responsible for providing strategic guidance to clients with respect to investment management, customized lending, trusts and estate planning services and philanthropic objectives.
John leads a team of dedicated specialists and utilizes the vast resources of Bank of America to help provide comprehensive strategies with a highly personalized client experience. Prior to joining Bank of America in 2006, John was a financial advisor with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management and was previously with Key Bank providing wealth management services to individuals and commercial lending and treasury services to small and medium sized businesses. He also has extensive credit experience helping businesses and individuals finance their asset purchases and liquidity needs.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the State University at Plattsburgh and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificant. As a Certified Exit Planning Advisor designee, John is also able to help business owners prepare for the eventual transition of their privately held business.
Active in the community, John has previously served on the advisory boards of the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York, The Salvation Army Albany Area Services, Visiting Nurses Association of Albany, the elder board for Bethlehem Community Church and has also previously been active in youth programs serving as an adult leader in Boy Scouts, and a mentor/instructor with Junior Achievement.
