Jonathan “Jo” Turnock is a Private Client Manager at Bank of America Private Bank, based in Albany, New York. He brings together extensive resources and specialists across the Bank of America enterprise to help high- and ultra-high net worth individuals, families and non-profit organizations pursue their distinct wealth management goals. Jo can connect clients with a range of services to address multiple facets of the wealth planning process. These include strategies for asset management, retirement income planning, charitable giving, and wealth transfer, as well as credit and lending solutions and trust and estate planning services. He is committed to building close relationships based on careful listening to understand what each client values most.      

Jo joined the Bank of America enterprise in 2015 as a Client Associate at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in Anchorage, Alaska. Relocating to Albany, he transitioned to Relationship Manager and Financial Solutions Advisor roles at Bank of America. As a Financial Solutions Advisor, he began partnering with the Private Bank to coordinate Bank of America & Merrill services for their clients. He became a Private Client Manager in 2024.  

Raised in Stoke-on-Trent in the United Kingdom, Jo graduated from the University of Staffordshire attaining a Bachelor’s degree with First Class Honors in Marketing Management. He also holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor, CRPC designation.

Jo volunteers as a coach for the Niskayuna Soccer Club and serves on the Capital District YMCA’s Advisory Council for Camp Chingachgook. The camp and its scholarship program are special to Jo. He met his now wife, Erin, when both were counselors there during college summers. After six years in Alaska, the couple returned to New York State to raise their family. They live in Glenville with their sons, Logan and Charley; their dog, Denali; and six chickens.
