Margaret Zimmer is a Vice President and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank in Buffalo, New York. Margaret works closely with high-net-worth individuals, families, private foundations and endowed not-for-profits to help optimize and manage their wealth. By identifying a client’s primary goals and needs, Margaret and her team coordinate local resources and the national capabilities of Bank of America Enterprise to help clients reach their objectives. She leads a team of Bank of America Private Bank specialists who work in concert to design and implement tailored financial strategies in investment management, trust and estate planning services, liquidity-event strategies, lending and philanthropy.
Prior to joining Bank of America Private Bank in 2022, she served as a CMF Philanthropy Fellow at the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Foundation helping give her experience and insight into the philanthropic sector. Previously, she held positions in corporate communications, shareholder relations, and organizational effectiveness at Delaware North.
Margaret obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing and MBA from Canisius University in Buffalo, New York. She currently serves on the Next Generation United board of the United Way for Buffalo and Erie County.
