Gaurav Suri is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank in the NY Metropolitan/Outer Boroughs Market. Gaurav works closely with business owners, venture capital and private equity principals, senior executives and, nonprofit institutions, providing them with the leadership and focused attention to pursue their objectives more effectively. He has particular depth catering to the wealth-management needs of the Indian diaspora, offering a natural connectivity and understanding of their priorities. Originally from India and educated in the U.K. and the U.S., Gaurav brings a global perspective, drawing on professional tenures in London, New York, and Washington, D.C. He began his finance career in 1997 and spent more than ten years in commodity derivatives, refining his knowledge of international markets. In 2013, Gaurav joined Wells Fargo, where he was a Relationship Manager in Commercial Banking and completed its formal credit training program. His experience also includes six years with JPMorgan Chase, where he was a Relationship Manager within Business Banking. Gaurav has worked at Bank of America since 2021. Earlier, he was a Senior Relationship Manager with Business Banking, where he advised nonprofit institutions, business owners, CEOs, and CFOs about their credit, depository, and cash management needs. He draws on an extensive background in business, commercial, and institutional banking—offerings that align well with the needs of entrepreneurs and executives. As a fiduciary, Gaurav is obligated to put clients’ interests ahead of his own—a dynamic that facilitates long-term relationships grounded in trust.
