Amy O’Brien is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Manager with Bank of America Private Bank in Melville, New York. Amy works closely with accomplished individuals and families, overseeing a preeminent client experience grounded in extensive customization and precise execution.
Drawing on more than two decades of banking experience, Amy offers the knowledge, insight, and network to advance client priorities more effectively. Working in concert with her team’s Private Client Advisor, she orchestrates the delivery of tailored strategies and intensive service, deepening client relationships through reliable outreach and diligent follow-through. Amy’s role as a Private Client Manager is a return to her roots. Earlier in her career, she spent more than 15 years with Bank of America on Long Island, ultimately serving as an Associate Vice President of Small Business Banking. A strong performer, Amy took on increasing responsibilities, developing close relationships with business owners and entrepreneurs. Most recently, Amy was a Senior Vice President and Senior Divisional Manager of the Tri-State Area at Citi, where she spent more than three years. In this capacity, she led a team of 12 senior business bankers who catered to the credit, cash-management, and liquidity needs of the high-net-worth segment. Adept in both business and consumer banking, Amy draws on experience dating from 2000.
A graduate of Katharine Gibbs School in Melville, Amy studied Business Administration and Management. She has also completed Bank of America’s Mastery - Advanced Credit Training, as well as extensive Commercial Credit Training with Citibank.
A resident of Lake Grove, Amy enjoys spending time with her family and friends. In her free hours, she also loves to garden and shop.
