Errika Mijares is a Senior Vice President and the Private Bank Market Leader for Long Island. She leads a fiduciary team of Private Client Advisors, Private Client Managers, Portfolio Managers, and Trust Officers to deliver the highest level of client experience and professional advice. Errika brings more than eighteen years of direct experience, allowing her to connect her team to the tools, technology, and capabilities they need to thrive. A strong communicator and committed mentor, she is also skilled in helping Advisors streamline their access to resources, expedite decision making, and foster active collaboration, enterprise wide.

Errika has worked at Bank of America since 2006. Prior to her current role, she served as the Enterprise Relationship Specialist and Senior Vice President for the Long Island Market, facilitating strategic collaboration across Bank of America’s eight lines of business. Earlier in her tenure, Errika gained valuable experience in cross-functional management roles, including six years as a Client Relationship Manager for multiple markets at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. She began her wealth management career with a Merrill team in New York City after working for RAB Capital, a boutique investment bank in London.

Originally from Colorado, Errika graduated from the University of Colorado with a B.A. in Spanish for the Professions, a Minor in Business Administration, and an emphasis in Economics. Errika has earned the Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist^™ designation. 

Errika is the Diversity and Inclusion Lead for the Market President Western Regional Council and is active with the Bank of America Diversity & Inclusion Council and Merrill Women’s Exchange on Long Island.  Errika is also an Executive Sponsor for WEN, Women’s Empowerment Network at Bank of America.

A resident of Garden City, Errika and her husband Phil stay active with their young family: two sons, Liam and Jackson, and a daughter, Simone. Their family circle extends to their much-loved dogs, Taco and Maya. Avid Islander fans, Errika and her family never miss a game.
