Ana C. Perez-Gea is a Portfolio Manager at Bank of America Private Bank in New York City. Supported by the global enterprise, she utilizes a broad range of wealth management skills in the areas of asset allocation, tax-minimization, retirement, and multi-generational wealth planning. Ana is devoted to helping clients manage their wealth and expectations – focusing on their overall financial strategy and where they stand in relation to their objectives.Ana has deep experience with data analytics, business strategy and alternative investments. She brings clients extensive quantitative skills from her mathematical background and time spent in the firm’s Chief Investment Office (CIO). Beyond her financial acumen, Ana’s strong communication skills and attention to detail allow her to present clients with clear and concise data-driven recommendations. In 2018, Ana joined the CIO’s Solutions Oversight & Data Analytics team, where she helped build robust and systematic monitoring and oversight processes across Merrill and the Private Bank. In 2020, she took on additional responsibilities as the data lead for the Sustainable & Impact Investment Strategy team within the ClO. In 2022, Ana became an Alternative Investment Strategist within the Investment Solutions Group – helping back initiatives with data and explain trends relative to broader industry environments.
Ana is co-head of Hispanic/Latino Organization for Leadership & Advancement NY Professional Development Committee and has been active in the Employee Satisfaction Committee. She also volunteers with local organizations serving communities in need and organizations advancing girls in STEM.
Ana holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) designation as well as the Certificate in ESG Investing from the CFA Institute. She also holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA®) designation from the CAIA Association. She has an MS in Scientific Computing from New York University and a BS in Applied Mathematics from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México in Mexico City. Ana is fluent in Spanish and conversant in French. She resides in New York City with her husband and twin daughters.
