John Homan is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank in New York City, New York. John joined Bank of America Private Bank (formerly U.S. Trust) in 2005. Previously, he was a visiting lecturer at the Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University in Japan. He also served for seven years as a research analyst at an international non-profit organization. John earned his B.S. from Michigan State University, his master’s degree from Yale University and a diploma in Credit Analysis from New York University. He holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designation. Having served as a member of the Yale Alumni Fund Board of Directors for 12 years, John is currently on the board of PARCO, a non-profit environmental education organization in Mozambique. He is active with a number of nonprofits in New York City and Connecticut that serve at-risk individuals. John and his spouse divide their time between Manhattan and northern Connecticut. In their free time, they enjoy beekeeping.
