Nina M. McElroy is a Managing Director and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank in New York, New York. She provides wealth management guidance for a limited number of ultra-high-net-worth families and individuals, designing strategies to help them pursue specific financial goals and leave lasting legacies. Nina works directly with a select group of wealth creators that includes business owners and principals in hedge funds, private equity firms and real estate organizations. As the leader of a client’s Private Bank team, she commands the resources of an experienced team with in-depth knowledge of multiple disciplines and access to decision-making capabilities at the highest levels of the Bank.  

Nina is committed to addressing client concerns with sensitivity, confidentiality, and a keen understanding of the opportunities and challenges that significant wealth can entail. She draws on well-established relationships within and outside the Private Bank, directing cohesive action across multiple platforms to offer clients a variety of services. She and her team focus primarily on fast delivery of customized credit and banking services. In addition, they can offer strategies for investment management and philanthropy, as well as trust and estate planning services and family offices services. 

Nina has worked in a private bank capacity since 1985. She joined the Bank of America Private Bank (formerly U.S. Trust) in 2007. She began her career at Citibank Private Bank and was a senior vice president and team leader serving the ultra-high-net-worth market.  Subsequently she was a managing director at Republic National Bank, later acquired by HSBC.  

Nina earned her B.A. degree at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, and her M.B.A. from the Stern School of Business at New York University. She holds the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential, although she does not provide tax advice in her role at the Private Bank.
