Pakhi Eder is a Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager at Bank of America Private Bank. In this role, she is responsible for creating customized investment strategies and advising on a broad range of wealth management services for ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families and institutions. In addition, Pakhi provides traditional guidance in the areas of asset allocation, tax-minimization, retirement and multi-generational strategies. With a broad range of experiences spanning over two decades in private banking, equity research, corporate finance and consulting, Pakhi brings a unique perspective to her clients.
Prior to joining Bank of America Private Bank (formerly U.S. Trust) in 2017, she worked at J.P. Morgan’s Private Bank as an Investment Specialist. Previously, Pakhi worked in the Financial Planning & Analysis group within the Office of the CFO at PepsiCo and for J.P. Morgan’s Equity Research department where she performed extensive analyses of publicly traded companies and articulated investment advice to institutional investors as part of Institutional Investor All-America ranked teams. Pakhi began her career at the Law & Economics Consulting Group.
Pakhi received her B.A. in Economics and Political Science, magna cum laude, from Union College. She earned her MBA with Distinction from NYU Stern School of Business, where she was a Stern Scholar and inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma. Pakhi is a CFA® charterholder and received the CFA® Institute Certificate in ESG Investing.
Pakhi currently serves on the President’s Council at Union College and the Management Advisory Council for the Michael Price Student Investment Fund at NYU Stern School of Business. Within Bank of America Private Bank, she leads the EMPOWER program designed to support junior women.
Pakhi resides in Manhattan with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys traveling and is an avid runner, having completed thirteen marathons.
