Tania Bari is a Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager at Bank of America Private Bank in New York, New York. With over two decades of industry experience, Tania advises ultra-high-net-worth families, corporate executives, financial principals, foundations and endowments on asset allocation and portfolio construction.Prior to joining Bank of America Private Bank, Tania was a Senior Investment Counselor at Citi Global Wealth. While there, she developed deep relationships with private and institutional clients, advising them across wealth structuring, fixed income, equities, and alternative and private investments. Tania also served as the Co-Head of Women in Wealth for North America, where she led the development of a full client segment offering and curating a private banking experience tailored to women.Tania joined Citi from J.P. Morgan Private Bank, where, in addition to advising ultra-high-net-worth families, she specialized in credit and interest rate markets. Additionally, she was an active member of J.P. Morgan Private Bank’s Opportunity Calls strategy committee, responsible for developing market views and timely, opportunistic trade ideas for clients globally.Previously, Tania worked as a securitized and credit derivative products marketer at Credit Suisse, focusing on collateralized loan obligations, mortgage-backed securities, and structured and other esoteric products. She successfully adapted the firm’s trading business in volatile markets and worked closely with institutional investors, including insurance companies, endowments, pension and hedge funds.Tania earned her M.B.A. from Rutgers Business School and a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Financial Economics and Psychology from Rutgers College.
