Elaine Moran is a Senior Vice President and Senior Trust Officer at Bank of America Private Bank in Rochester, New York. Working closely with generations of clients and foundations, she brings more than 35 years’ experience to the administration of trusts and the execution of provisions contained in trust documents. When it comes to matters of trust administration, Elaine is is the main point of contact for clients – connecting with other Bank of America specialists to assist, as appropriate. She recognizes that each trust and each beneficiary is unique, which is why she devotes time to appreciating their financial goals and attitudes toward wealth. For Elaine, the opportunity to interact with and be inspired by clients is her greatest privilege. Before joining the Private Bank in 2006, Elaine spent 20 years at Marine Midland Bank which later merged with HSBC Bank. The last 12 of those years were spent as a vice president/trust relationship officer. Prior to that, she served eight years as an assistant vice president of operations, overseeing 25 branch locations. Elaine studied business law at Monroe Community College and completed her certifications through the American Bankers Association for Trust and Estate Administration, attending the American Bankers Association National and Graduate Trust and Estate Schools at Northwestern University. She also completed certification at the New York State Bankers Association Trust, Estate and Tax School. Elaine served on the board for the Estate Planning Council of Rochester and was a member of the Staff Development Activity Committee for the Hilton Central School District.  She’s a current member of the Rochester Chapter of the Women’s Exchange, the Estate Planning Council of Rochester and the American Bankers Association. Elaine volunteers for the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children, is an avid cook and traveler, and the proud mom of two adult children. Elaine does not provide legal, tax or accounting advice in her role at Bank of America.
