Veena Khanna is a Managing Director and the Market Executive for Ohio at Bank of America Private Bank. Veena leads a high-growth market that encompasses multiple offices throughout Ohio, overseeing the delivery of a preeminent suite of wealth management services to high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, multi-generational families and nonprofit institutions. With nearly 25 years of direct experience—all of it in private banking—Veena works in concert with her team to identify capabilities across the Bank’s ecosystem that align with the needs of an accomplished clientele. As Market Executive, Veena has a number of responsibilities. She communicates the firm’s strategic direction, fostering active collaboration with her team and across the Bank’s eight lines of business to address the demands of substantial wealth. Veena is also responsible for hiring and mentoring a talented cohort of Advisors and Associates, facilitating their professional growth and connecting them to the resources that can help them thrive. Deeply engaged with her community, Veena is an ambassador to the greater Ohio area, communicating the vision and values of the firm and embodying the Private Bank’s civic engagement. Prior to joining Bank of America Private Bank, Veena held several leadership roles with Key Private Bank. Most recently, Veena was the Regional Executive for the Central Region, where she oversaw a team of 170 direct reports in multiple wealth disciplines across 12 markets. Earlier, Veena served as the Director of Strategy and Implementation for the Private Bank, where she redesigned the Bank’s offerings, integrated the First Niagara Wealth Management business, and reinvigorated the Bank’s digital offerings. Veena’s experience also includes serving as Director of Wealth Advisory Services, where she gained valuable knowledge of wealth planning, trust and estate planning services, tax-sensitive investing, and business advisory services.  Veena began her tenure at Key Private Bank in 2000 in Trust Client Services. Veena earned her J.D. from the University of Akron School of Law and her B.B.A. from the University of Cincinnati.
